We are feeling immense pleasure in informing you that Meerapur Barwari Durga Puja Committee is going to celebrate its 48th Durga Puja festival from October 20 to 24th at the premises of D.A.V. Inter College, Meerapur. In 2012, we were judged as the No. 1 Durga Puja of Allahabad at Vodafone Pujo Mania, which was organised in association with 93.5 Red FM and Hindustan Times. Since then, we were honoured/ appreciated by various Social/Cultural associations and Media Houses for our Theme based Pratima and Pandal in last few years.
Our Puja Pandal is located in between Maha Shakti Lalita Devi Temple and Kalyani Devi Temple. One of the important aspects of the location is the huge mobilisation of people that happens on the streets, and at the Pandal during Navratra. On this auspicious occasion, we would bring out a Souvenir for wide distribution amongst the participants, well-wishers and visitors.
