On the fifth day of Shardiya Navratra (Panchami Tithi of Durga Puja Calendar), the Divine Mother arrives to the Puja Pandal from the idol maker’s place, accompanied by her children. The cleaning of the “Baas-Sthal” (Adhibas) and “Bilva-Nimantran” are the main ritual of this day. The puja celebrations start with “Anondo-Mela”, a family get together.

As per Indian Standard Time, the famous festival of Durga Puja is going to be celebrated in 2024 as the time schedule given below:
- The Maha Panchami Puja is going to be celebrated on 8th October 2024 (Tuesday) or as on Bengali Calendar on মঙ্গলবার, ২২ আশ্বিন ১৪৩১.
- The Maha Shasthi Puja is going to be celebrated on 9th October 2024 (Wednesday) or as on Bengali Calendar on বুধবার, ২৩ আশ্বিন ১৪৩১.
- The Maha Saptami Puja is going to start on 10th October 2024 (Thursday) or as on Bengali Calendar বৃহস্পতিবার, ২৪ আশ্বিন ১৪৩১. On this day the Naba Patrika should complete in the time within 07:25 AM
- The Maha Ashtami Puja is going to start on 11th October 2024 (Friday) or as on Bengali Calendar শুক্রবার, ২৫ আশ্বিন ১৪৩১. On this day the Ashtami puja will continue upto 06:48 AM,
- The Sandhi Puja ( संधि पूजा ) will going to start after 06.24 AM on 11th October 2024 and will be going to finish within 07.12 AM of the same day.
- The Maha Nabami Puja is going to start on 12th October 2024 (Saturday) or as on Bengali Calendar শনিবার, ২৬ আশ্বিন ১৪৩১. On this day the Maha Nabami puja will continue upto 05:58 AM.
- The Bijaya Dashami Puja is going to start on 13th October 2024 (Sunday) or as on Bengali Calendar রবিবার, ২৭ আশ্বিন ১৪৩১. On this day the Bijaya Dashami puja will continue upto 06:00 AM.

- মহালয়া বা সর্বপিতৃ অমাবস্যা পালিত হবে ২ অক্টোবর বুধবার।
- মহাষষ্ঠী পালিত হবে ৯ অক্টোবর বুধবার।
- মহাসপ্তমী পালিত হবে ১০ অক্টোবর বৃহস্পতিবার।
- মহাঅষ্টমী পালিত হবে ১১ অক্টোবর শুক্রবার।
- মহানবমী পালিত হবে ১২ অক্টোবর শনিবার।
- বিজয়া দশমী পালিত হবে ১৩ অক্টোবর রবিবার।
এই বছর মহাসপ্তমী বৃহস্পতিবার পড়ায় ২০২৪-এ দেবীর আগমন হবে দোলা বা পালকিতে। শাস্ত্র অনুসারে এর ফল “দোলায়াং মকরং ভবেৎ” অর্থাৎ মহামারী, ভূমিকম্প, খরা, যুদ্ধ ও অতিমৃত্যু লক্ষ্য করা যায়। দোলা বা পালকিতে দেবীর আগমন হলে সূচিত হয় ভয়ঙ্কর মহামারী। যাতে বিপুল প্রাণহানি অনিবার্য।
