Saraswati Puja is celebrated in the month of Magha (January–February). It is celebrated on Basant Panchami or Shree Panchami. People place books near the goddess’ statue or picture and worship the goddess Saraswati. Many choose the day as a symbolic start of learning the alphabets (Hathe Khori) by children.
Meerapur Barwari Durga Puja Committee is pleased to announce that this year, we shall be organizing Saraswati Puja in the Dayanand Convent School Hall at D.A.V. Inter College, Meerapur, Allahabad on 14th February, 2024. Last year, we witnessed a huge footfall of devotees at Pranami Sewa Sadan, Patel Nagar, Meerapur, Prayagraj. Hundreds of devotee offered their Pushpanjali to seek the blessings of Goddess Saraswati. We are extremely happy that you all came and took part in the Puja! May the Goddess of Knowledge bless us all with the zeal to pursue the truth, and become wiser with every passing day.
